What our clients tell us...
"This is really important work - both as an HR professional and as a client - I see that. Having passion around your work and getting what you want out of work / life balance is vital."
Sara Graham, HR Manager, Microsoft Corporation.
The online exercises are clear and easy to use. You are taken through a number of logical steps which, on completion, allows you to consolidate the answers to draw conclusions about the values and skills that are important to you.
Rachel Lindley, Owner, Owens Professional Partnership
What will I receive when I join the course?
You will receive log-in details to your own personalized area of our website where you can access the 10 audio visual modules and interactive exercises that make up the course; plus exclusive access to our online community and career research resources.
How long does the course take to complete?
There is no set time limit as you can work through the 10 modules at your own pace. Most clients spend between 3-5 hours completing the course.
When should I do the course?
You can complete the course at any time. People often find it useful to do the exercises when they want to reassess where they are in their career. Completing the course can help you evaluate different options and give you the best opportunity to target your networking activities.
Why do you recommend completing the Career Maximiser course?
Our structured approach gives you a framework to define your career strategy and helps you to consistently evaluate the different options you are considering. Without a framework you can often go round in circles in trying to decide what your next step should be.
Why don’t I just use a career coach?
High quality career coaching can be hugely beneficial; our consultants regularly provide this type of one-to-one service to executives across the UK and Europe, and the results can be exceptional. However a series of one-to-one sessions with a high quality coach can be prohibitively expensive. For less than the typical cost of just one hour with an experienced coach you will receive access to the entire Career Maximiser course. If you later decide to work with a career coach to help you address a specific goal, the knowledge you gain from completing the Career Maximiser course should reduce the time you need to spend with that coach – ensuring you get the best possible return from your overall investment.
How long does my access last?
Your access will last for 12 months from the point at which you purchase the course.
How does your money-back guarantee work?
You have big plans, we want to help you achieve them. Nothing gives us a bigger buzz than hearing about the successes of our clients. However we also understand that sometimes things don’t work out. If the course doesn’t meet your expectations then we’ll refund the purchase price to you in full. All that we ask is that you give the course a chance. For this reason our money-back guarantee lasts for 30 days from the date of purchase. If you’ve made the decision to join the course then we’re guessing you’re motivated to get started, and 30 days should give you plenty of time to get stuck in. There’s some small print relating to exchange rates, etc (and you can read that in our Terms and Conditions), but in essence the message is that if you've bought the course and it isn’t right for you we’ll give you your money back.
How is Career Maximiser different from other courses out there?
There is no test or quiz on earth that has the sophistication to work out what career is right for you. Sometimes these types of tests can give you ideas, but only you can really work out what you want and what you have to offer.
Your career is too important for other people to tell you what to do. We help you work it out yourself. So when you interview you have compelling reasons for that job or career, and you have evidence to back up what you have to offer. The course is very practical and geared towards what recruiters want to know. It also offers a structured approach to make sense of the often confusing task of deciding on a career direction.
